Information for attending faculty

Regalia

Faculty members must wear caps and gowns over business attire for each graduation ceremony. Regalia will be distributed by the administrative assistants in each department at the end of April. After the ceremonies, we will ask you to return all regalia items to your department point person. If you have any questions regarding academic regalia, please contact Edna Jackson or Shamila Khader.

Saturday, May 7

6:00 p.m.          Faculty arrive at CMU-Q’s food court with regalia 

6:45 p.m.          Processional finalized in curved walkway

7:00 p.m.          Ceremony begins

8:15 p.m.          Reception

Rehearsal

A rehearsal for faculty, graduates and flag bearers will take place in the building on Friday, May 6, 2022. Academic regalia is not required for the rehearsal. Please choose to attend one of the rehearsal timings listed below. 

• Class of 2020: Friday, May 6 at 9:00 a.m. 
• Class of 2021: Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. 
• Class of 2022: Friday, May 6 at 4:00 p.m.
